Imagined, for uncertain times, is a virtual gallery showcase imagined and self-produced by 11 independent design studios from 9 countries. Born out of an idea for creators to share in both hope and pain at the time of a global pandemic, the show explores dual themes of ‘imagining unbound’ and ‘uncertainty’ through the distinct lens of each participating studio.
LOVEEEE this kinda stuff, I could watch this over and over again.
Tiny artworks on an ancient textmessage
I often don't really like "classical music", but this ''song'' is a piece of art in my opinion.
It gives me inspiration as I feel like I'm in a whole other world while listening to this. Haha I don't know but I like it.

Really capture your process and projects to later on show it to (potential) clients to show them what you are able to do and win them over. Make a book per project.
Broaden your network (by talking to people, showing your work, be interested) so that people can recommend you to other people and that broadens your network again etc.
Her worst struggle:
- make left over materials "perfect"
What caught my attention:
IMMEDIATELY START MAKING, DON'T BE AFRAID AND DON'T
BE TO MUCH IN OUR HEAD ABOUT IT. (This is exactly what I have to do.)
This is my favourite project of her that she showed in her presentation. Lots of variations, colours and techniques about something reletively simple.

(Commercial presentation)
- Selling the products
- Leading the customer
- Seducing the customer
- Selling extra products
- Increasing converse
What caught my attention:
- HIGHLIGHT WHAT IS IMPORTANT (Central?, Light?, Level it?, give it space? etc.)
- DON'T LET THE "DECORATION/DISPLAY'' OVERRULE OR TAKE THE ATTENTION AWAY FROM YOUR PRODUCT, IT HAS TO ENHANCE THE PRODUCT
Forever studio
It's so much about experimenting and thinking in oppertunities while making a product, see potential in all the little things
I thought this one was so cool, it really makes the whole aesthetic, and I love the idea of having your work be part of a much bigger project.
What caught my attention:
- Putting in the time is important because sometimes things just arise from DOING
- You never know when the inspiration hits you, so go out into the field and explore
Budget is the biggest struggle
First client was because they knew a person working their, so it's also really about networking when you begin your company
Resin
Most of their clients reach out via instagram, so social media and photography and all the things around your product is so important
Rent a anti squit studio to really have your own working place, its different then just working from your room.
